Your job – Graduates of cosmetology, specialty – biological regeneration will be prepared to work in:

  • wellness rooms
  • holistic massage parlors
  • SPA hotels
  • Wellness and SPA resorts
  • aesthetic surgery clinics
  • beauty salons focused on body care
  • and to run your own business (e.g. mobile services)

Organization of classes

  • duration: 3 years (6 semesters)
  • part-time studies (extramural) – 10/11 meetings per semester (on average 2 per month)
  • days of classes for part-time (extramural) studies:
  • Friday or Monday from 16.00 to 20.00 and Saturday and Sunday
  • full-time studies (day) – 4 days a week
  • Each student of Cosmetology is required to have a computer with an audiovisual system necessary to work remotely at home
  • Practical classes take place in the massage and relaxation techniques studio at the University’s headquarters, and practical skills are improved during various events, study visits, university and professional internships.

  • to familiarize the student with the latest trends on the global market in the field of biological regeneration and wellness
  • to familiarize the student with the properties of essential oils and their use in massage
  • learning body care treatments that fight signs of skin imperfections and model the body silhouette
  • learning techniques and massages of a relaxing and energetic nature, taking into account the basics of reflective treatment of the feet
  • learning anti-cellulite massages oriented to market needs
  • learning lymphatic drainage in a wellness, cosmetology and aesthetic medicine office
  • familiarizing the student with the techniques of relaxation and kinesitherapy
  • to familiarize the student with the basic concepts of proper nutrition and dietary supplementation in biological regeneration
  • building proper student-client interpersonal relations

Practice

The university provides participation in professional and university internships, study visits and events such as the Women’s Congress. Professional and university internships allow you to verify learning outcomes in real or identical to real conditions.

Participation in guest lectures and study visits provides the student with familiarization with care treatments performed with modern equipment and with natural cosmetics and oils that are increasingly used in biological regeneration. Access to literature and industry magazines. Classes will be conducted by a qualified staff of lecturers – practitioners. During the classes, the student creates a professional portfolio.

Practical issues

Modeling treatment with the use of micronized algae for selected parts of the body – action, treatment scheme. 2. Detoxifying treatment with the use of mud from the Dead Sea on selected parts of the body – action, treatment scheme. 3. Savon Noir – treatment with black soap and Kessa glove for the whole body, action, treatment scheme. 4. Basic spa ritual – natural peeling of the whole body with a relaxing massage based on the composition of essential oils – action, treatment scheme.

Philosophy of the chakras. The influence of relaxing massage with hot stones on a human being. Principles and conditions of massage. 2. The specificity of the stamp massage. The influence of hot stamp massage on man. Types of the most popular stamps used in the wellness and spa resort along with their application. Learning to make stamps for the needs of the procedure. 3. Terms and conditions of performing a relaxing and energetic massage with elements of Pantai Luar by Kurland. 4. The specificity of the aromatic candle massage. The influence of a relaxing massage with an aromatic candle on a human being. Types of oils and waxes used for candles. Principles and conditions of massage. 5. Foot reflexology microsystem. Anatomical areas of the foot. Localization and search of the main receptors of the foot. Diagnostic analysis of the feet for the purpose of the procedure. Reflexotherapeutic techniques in the foot area, types and methods of their implementation

Aromatherapy massage for the whole body. 2. Recognizing basic essential oils and composing your own goal-oriented synergies and applying them in beauty and wellness treatments.

Visual, palpation and functional examination for lymphatic drainage. 2. Principles and conditions for performing lymphatic drainage according to Vodder in the area of the whole body, shaping the figure, fighting cellulite, reducing fat tissue and swelling. Indications and contraindications for drainage. 3. Treatments supporting the effects of lymphatic drainage: pressotherapy and cryotherapy. 4. Lymphatic drainage in aesthetic medicine.

The essence of Chinese cupping treatment. Detox cupping method and its application. Healing, regenerative and anti-cellulite effect of Chinese cupping massage. Rules and conditions for its implementation. 2. The specificity of honey’s effect on the body. Rules and conditions for performing a warm honey massage. 3. Isometric massage of selected muscle groups – operation and principles of performance. 4. Principles and conditions of modeling and anti-cellulite massage for selected, problematic parts of the body. Examination for the purpose of massage. 5. Anti-cellulite massage with stamps with elements of lymphatic drainage, classic massage, isometric massage and modeling. Terms and conditions of the procedure.

Methods and techniques of relaxation and visualization. Meditation elements. 2. Sound therapy, i.e. a concert of Gongs and Tibetan Singing Bowls, group and individual sessions and their therapeutic effect.

General systematics of movement exercises – indications, contraindications, techniques of performance and ergonomics at the workplace. 2. Selected kinesitherapy techniques such as stretching, post-isometric muscle relaxation with analgesic and strengthening techniques, kinesiotaping, trigger points, deep segmental massages.

Technical, hygienic and sanitary requirements and regulations governing the use of selected devices and technologies in Beauty, Spa & Wellness facilities. 2. Modern technologies in cosmetology with particular emphasis on the specialization of Biological Renewal – treatment effectiveness. Global trends, World leaders / producers. 3. Fashion and trends in the design, equipment and functioning of Beauty Spa & Wellness facilities. The influence of a cosmetic brand on the selection of devices.

Social trends and dynamics of development in the field of massages and beauty treatments

Rituals and ceremonies for the body used in the wellness and spa resort and their therapeutic and holistic effects

Aromatherapy – the sense of smell, aromatherapy and aromachology, the basics of sensory science. Origin of essential oils. The use of essential oils in treatments and the characteristics of their impact on the proper functioning of a person in conditions of constant stress and the pace of life

Philosophy, specificity and holism of relaxing and energetic massages

The role of kinesitherapy in biological regeneration in the field of relaxation, elimination of overload syndromes and in sports regeneration

Definition of lymphatic drainage. Structure of the lymphatic system for the needs of massage and changes caused by its pathological condition. Classification of lymphedema.

Anti-cellulite treatments and massages. Types of cellulite and ways to remove it

The basics of stress psychology, the impact of stress on the body, psyche and interpersonal relationships. Relaxation in everyday life

The influence of nutrients on the proper functioning of the skin

Dietary supplements as an element supporting treatment therapies for the body
