Bielsko-Biała offers to its citizens and visitors many cultural and touristic attractions during the whole year. Many tourist trails leading to the mountains begin in the town and due to the town’s extensive range of sports and recreational facilities, visitors have many opportunities to exercise and relax by skiing or snowboarding in winter and sailing or paragliding in summer. In addition, there are theatres,cinemas, many pubs and cafes which are mainly found in the town centre close to the main pedestrian zone and shopping district.
